Pav Dharia’s retrospective album ‘My Turn’ is out now

Written by

My Turn is a brand new retrospective compilation album released by MV Records, India, featuring all of Australia based artist Pav Dharia’s productions from the last year.

We asked Pav what the idea behind the album was:

It was an opportunity for some of the artists I worked with to release their tracks in a compiled project rather than just standalone singles.

The album includes Pav’s own vocaled and best known track “Bewafa“; as well as 7 songs sung by other singers, two of which have never been released before: “Patole” by Rhyme Ryderz alongside Pav himself, and “Sohniye” by Navi Buttar.

He adds:

The album also includes a song by my dad, “Meri Jhanjar” — this track I feel is some of my best work so far and I hope listeners will like it as much as I do.

The album also contains “Yaarian”, the most recent single release and features Devinder Dharia on vocals, with lyrics by Chann Madushangia.

Pav is starting to make serious waves in the industry with his recent production of Vinaypal Buttar’s latest album, Agli Tape (and its hit track “Afsos”), doing major damage in India; this compilation is an opportunity for UK and worldwide listeners to catch up on some of his other productions.

The album serves as a warm-up to his first major studio album, entitled Red, and which is due out on Speed Records in a few weeks’ time.

My Turn is available to download now via iTunes
