Hailing from west Delhi,India now residing in London is one of the most hardworking DJ/Producer on the come up. With his first album he has set out to prove a point that Asian music does not necessarily have to be tied up in traditional boundaries.
For the last 10 years he has been DJ’ing predominantly for a white and black clientèle but at the same time still not loosing touch with his Asian roots. A diploma holder in music production and music biz from London’s most acclaimed and DJ MAG cosigned music college POINT BLANK he is defiantly an artist to look for in the near future.
The album titled SVAG an acronym for ‘Sabton Vakhra Apna Gaana‘ meaning my songs are the most unique was well thought by the artist because of the firm belief that the 7 songs on the album are all a different approach to asian pop music.
With cosigns from Nihal(BBC Radio One), Bobby Friction (BBC Asian Network), Mentor, Rishi Rich, Juggy D, Jags Klimax, Kam Frantic, Ameet Channa(Eastenders), Swami Baracus, Menis just to name a few Jiggapree once a boy who dreamed of being a musician among the greats is set to make it a reality when the album goes out worldwide in 2014!
The album comes out on a label by the name of Sohi Productions headed by Inder Sohi, who based in India, too believes in Jiggapree’s ability to craft a sound like no other artist out there and the fact is they already have signed him for the followup album which is going to break barriers set by SVAG.
The first 3 singles in order of release with videos are 218 (Tu Ho Gayi) ft Jessi Bains, Kurti ft Jessi Bains & Pop yo Modda ft Knottee-G.
All the videos are shot in prime locations with different concepts in mind. The album consists of artists like Jessy Bains, Knottee-G, Daman Mahal and Jeffrey Iqbal who have all established themselves as singers in their niche.
