 Re:NEW JK "NACHLE JIJA JI" - 2010/07/28 19:32 I know VIP don't like piracy what label in the music or video industry does, but this is a joke! that clip was only 30secs atleast and it was only him performing at a mela. i fail to understand the harm that clip caused, if anything it builds hype, it's like VIP don't want to promote him, this man is doing countless melas up and down the country many ppl are going to film him performing these tracks, if VIP don't want footage of him going anywhere..DON'T LET THE MAN PERFORM SIMPLE.

re Vips taking it down: he has no right to (and YouTube are being overly cautious when they do act on his complaints). The performance is in the public domain at an event open to all members of the public and for which no fee was charged (if it was one of the regional Melas), it is therefore not subject to copyright by VIP Records. VIP own the copyright in the original sound recording of the tracks not in the live performance of the songs themselves. The only person who could object to the video is JK himself and that would be for the performing rights...
