Yo Yo Honey Singh has courted another controversy by singing a song in the upcoming movie Boss which a Haryana-based NGO has found vulgar and irresponsible and sent a legal notice to the rapper for the same.
The lyrics of Party All Night song go like: “Jisne bhi party hai karni, aa jao mere ghar ke bhitar, daaru pi kar, khane ko hai murga teetar” (Those who want to party come to my house after drinking; there is chicken and partridge to eat).
“We have sent a legal notice to Honey Singh for singing a vulgar, clumsy and irresponsible song which openly promotes consumption of liquor. It also insults women and Haryana’s state bird partridge which is a protected species,” Deepak Rathi, vice-president of the NGO Earth Protector, told Mail Today. “The videos and theme of the song Party All Night is cheap. It also goes against the Supreme Court guidelines on playing music late night. The lines of the song that the party will continue throughout the night even if the police come in also downgrade the image of the state police,” he added.
Honey Singh had earlier courted controversy for allegedly singing a song called Mai Hu Balatkari (I am a rapist). The case is pending in the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
