Ammy Virk returns with ‘Yaar Amli’ – his first release for 2013
Anyone who spent any time in Punjab in the first 6 months of last year won’t have been able to escape a new singer called Ammy Virk. His debut release, Chandigarh Diyan Kudiyan, became of one of the breakthrough Punjabi pop tracks of the year with heavy rotation on radio, TV channels and just about everywhere else you can think of. Between Ammy’s distinctive vocal, the immediately catchy hook and Bhinda Aujla’s unmistakable production, the track has notched up an incredible 2 million hits on YouTube. Not bad for a previously unknown singer from Nabha.
Just over year on from that success, Ammy is about to release his first track of 2013. Yaar Amli is billed as a special track for all his music fans. Bhinda Aujla is once again on production duties with lyrics provided by Gurmeet Gora . The video, produced by Kamal Productions, was released in time for Valentine’s and has just been serviced to TV stations in India.
The track is being released directly by Kamal Productions and will be available on iTunes early next month.
